Euthanasia
Euthanizing your beloved pet is always an extremely difficult decision, and one that’s often made with the intention of ending their suffering. Our compassionate team is committed to supporting you through the process and ensuring the procedure takes place under the best possible conditions.
How is euthanasia performed?
When you arrive at the clinic, you’ll be led into a room set up specially for euthanasia. Your pet will be laid on the exam table and given two injections, one after the other. The first injection is a sedative and the second contains the euthanasia agent. You will have a few minutes between the two injections to say your final goodbyes to your pet. The injections are completely painless, and the entire procedure takes only a few minutes from beginning to end. Rest assured that the process will be carried out in a calm, respectful, and dignified manner.
Can I stay with my pet during the procedure?
That decision is completely up to you. You’re certainly welcome to stay with your faithful companion until the very end.
