Vaccinations for Kittens and Cats

Contact our team to create a vaccination plan for your feline friend.

Vaccination is part of basic health care, as it is necessary to maintain the good health of our pets.

We offer several vaccines, and we can offer different combinations of different vaccines to suit the needs of your pet. Vaccination is particularly important for kittens, as their immune systems are not yet fully developed, and they are therefore more at risk of contracting certain diseases. Vaccination enables them to build up antibodies to combat the various diseases to which they may be exposed.

If you're planning to travel with your pet, it will probably be necessary to have it vaccinated, as many countries require vaccinations to prevent the spread of disease. Some boarding kennels for cats and dogs also require their pets to have been vaccinated.

What is the main vaccine for cats?

The main vaccine, called PRC, contains vaccines against feline panleukopenia, infectious feline rhinotracheitis, and calicivirus.

What other vaccines are available for cats?

  • Rabies vaccine
  • Leukemia vaccine

How often should my cat be vaccinated?

The vaccination schedule for kittens should begin around 6 to 8 weeks of age. Kittens should then be vaccinated monthly until 6 months of age.

Adult cats should be vaccinated annually or every two years, depending on the vaccination program chosen. Your veterinarian will be able to tell you exactly how often your cat should be vaccinated.
