Grooming

From a simple bath to complete grooming, we take care of your pet as if it were our own.

Grooming plays an essential role in your pet’s health. Beyond looking and smelling good, a shiny coat is a sign that your animal is healthy. To make sure your pet has a pleasant experience, we take all the time we need to make them look their very best.

As a veterinary clinic, we realize that some animals have skin problems that require the use of a special shampoo. We have a range of medicated and natural shampoos to meet the specific needs of some of our patients. Medicated shampoos can only be used following a diagnosis by a veterinarian.

A few tips:

  • It’s important to get your pet accustomed to grooming from a young age. This will help make sure they have a positive experience during their appointments.
  • It’s important to brush your pet between grooming appointments to prevent large knots from forming in their fur, which would need to be cut out.
  • If your pet’s fur is too matted, we will recommend some degree of shaving. Sometimes, a complete shave is needed because excessive brushing and detangling can damage your pet’s fur and cause injury.
